April marks the first time seeing the legendary Slipknot! The main drive to going to this show was to see In This Moment, but also to experience someone new as well. Reading was such a great crowd, selling out the whole place. Slipknot was also great-in fact they exceeded my expectations.
While I always knew on some level they would be at the very least entertaining, I did not expect how chaotic and intense it would be. I mean that as a compliment- I love a high energy show that's engaging all your senses all the time, and Slipknot does just that.

Along with those two firsts, I paid visits to Brooklyn to see Roddy Bottum’s project with his favorite person, Joey Holman, Man on Man. They make pretty music about love that rocks. Also got to see a band I’ve been a fan of for just over a decade now (wow time flies!), Lucero.
